The Asian Centre of Innovation for Sustainable Agriculture Intensification (ACISAI) established in 2012 caters the long-felt need of a dedicated center in Asia catering to the research, educational and capacity building need in the areas of sustainable agriculture intensification, which is broadly agreed by most think-tanks, donors and governments as foundation for all future agriculture related growth and development. Research and development undertaken by ACISAI addresses vexed socio-economic and technical issues related to the food security and sustainable agriculture development. In particular, it addresses the bottlenecks faced by smallholders in Asian countries and beyond.
